Took a day off from work today. We are going to go visit my college pal and his wife who live a few hours away.

What a great afternoon/evening. Tried a new BBQ place in an old train depot near them. Food was outstanding, the wife insisted we get more to bring home

This August will be 40 years since we first met at college

Time flies. 12 years ago was the great chicken massacre by coyotes. 60+ birds in total.

Good lord! I never understood why yotes seemed to kill for sport.

Dentist appointment at 8:00 this morning. Getting a new crown on a molar. It felt like something was wrong so I got it checked out. I was reading up on joint replacement surgery and things that could affect it. An infection will go straight to a joint replacement. So I figured I needed a good check up. Sure enough, this crown had a problem. Easier to fix it now than after knee replacement.
Then come home, sister in law will pick me up at 12, take me to pick up son’s truck at body shop.

perhaps some sort of blood frenzy? or since they eat carrion they just go in and kill as much as they can because they "think" that later on they'll have those to eat? i don't really know for sure. they are around here but rarely seen.
