This is what's happening, this is on the outer row. It gets better pollinated in the inner rows.

Can cats be dogs? I'm pretty sure they can't. But these two act like dogs. This is what I see everytime I walk out the door. Then they follow me around like puppies. They are harder to gather up than dogs. I think they must have taken stubborn lessons from a mule as some point in their lives. I'm getting pretty good at cat herding. Are their feet cold? Stripe tail covering their feet 🤔

Need a couple more pictures of the steer from some other angles... but just from this pic I would say in the 8 wt range. Another year if the grass is good he ought to hit 1400. 50 lbs a month avg is just average gain... less than 2 lbs a day. 2 + is good for making good fat and marbling. get him killed before 30 months or you will not get back any of the t-bones or backbones... nothing with the spinal column contact.

Could be cold but I think it usually means they are relaxed and comfortable

Slept late this morning. Put on the coffee pot and went outside. Fed sheep, turned dogs and Ringo and his ewe out. Usually at noon they come back to their pen, then I’ll close them up and let the ewes out.

I’ve been working on my closet. I tossed the wire racks and put up brackets with a 1x12 on top. I have hang up clothes now! I’ve been working on a 7’ shelf tower, 29” wide, 17” deep. Got it put up yesterday, need to cut and paint two more shelves and another coat of paint on the tower.

So this is t-bone next to oreo, backsides pictured. Oreo's back is flat, t-bone back is not flat. All I see is big steaks when I look at oreo 😂.
