I made coffee, went outside to do chores, came back to no pot put under the drip and my much anticipated coffee all over the counter. Coffee was delayed…..

It’s a muggy, drippy, 97% humidity 66F with a high of 77F today. Therapy is rescheduled for 12:30. Being lazy now, but got things to do outside I need feed, but it’s supposed to rain. Do I take car or truck? I can take car and get just a couple of bags, that will be more than enough until Wednesday when I go back to town for therapy. So…… I can go ahead and hitch horse trailer this morning, check tires and be ready to roll out in the morning!
OH NO, not a good morning when Mr. Coffee doesn't do his job!
I want 77,,,, I need the snow to melt

Upper 20s and a tad windy. I have a chicken laying soft eggs, which they have oyster and crushed egg shell available at all times and everyone is on an All Flock feed with minimal treats....here comes the fight to get the calcium table in her mouth, lol Beautiful birds @Grandmas Porch

@Hinotori hope the pup is ok this morning.

I am drowning at my office job and I need to go into the office to swap out laptops next week, the 40 min drive will likely be closer to 1 hr but DH will drive me so I don't have to go into the scary parking ramp and then I will buy him lunch :)

Pretty sure 1 of my last round of chicks is a boy, likely 2 so 1 pullet out of 3 seems just about right!

well, of the 12 chicks of various breeds I bought from Wilco this past September, one has turned into a rooster!! Jenks Hatchery promises 90% accuracy sexing them, so I did good with one out of 12.

He's a lavender Orpington. Never had roosters before, so not sure if I'm going to keep him. Below pic is of the hen.

I can pick Hermes up in a few minutes. He's doing fine. Shear dumb luck he didn't have any complications.

They were giving him some kibble and he didn't eat much (because he gets a set amount a day and eats a few bites here and there). So someone gave him some chicken and then he wouldn't touch the kibble. Holding out for better food.
