Yep -- I'm THE one to haul water here. 😁. We've had a mild winter, if we don't count a few days of freeze at Christmas. 68 today👍. Wake up to 28 Sat morn 😵‍💫😡. Doesn't seem fair. I'll be breaking some ice at least one day. 🤷 Looks like Sun morn also.
You don't use a hose? Oh human who lives where it is warm?

Yeah, hose fills tubs while thawed....to freeze overnight. :old water doesn't run from a frozen pipe. I break ice, refill late day if it warms.
You leave your hose OUTSIDE????

Back when we had horses we stored the hose inside, in the guest shower which was upstairs.

Once a week we would hook one end to the sink, and roll out the 300 feet of hose from the upstairs bathroom window, have a kid lug it to the barn and put one end in the water trough.

When full the hose was pulled back up, rolled up, and stored in the shower.

If the hose isn't that long, (like one 100 or a 50 foot length) and it isn't winter, but still freezing at night, I just "walk" the hose when done, to get the water drained, but leave the hose on the ground for the next day.

Chickens, (and back when we had goats), they like water once a day.

My pipes are underground. I have an "inside" hose but, if only a couple of days of freeze, I do fill, thaw. And for day and night freeze...heaters, refill with underground faucets. I don't drag long, heavy hoses in and out. Use a slinky, shrink and expand, maybe 1# one 😁...25' but enough to the way I'm set up.

Remember...🤣 I live where it's warmer and rarely snow.

I walk the water out of 200 foot of hose. I can do it pretty quick now, expecially when it's below zero because it gives me motivation 😂

Good Morning ALL! Have a blessed FRIDAY the THIRTEENTH!!!! First friday13th of the year how lucky can we be that it's so soon in the year?
FH is still sleeping, don't have to worry about him getting up early seeing how he has today off (NOT ALLOWED OVERTIME:mad::somad:rant:duc), about to get my 2nd cup of go go juice for the day. I just wish I could sleep past 3:45 on his days off and there has been times I've slept until 5 but then it throws the rest of my day off. I'm just glad I got up when I did seeing how the puppy had to go do his business but now that he's done that and had his breakfast he's sprawled out in my chair fast asleep but as soon as I get up he'll be following me to the kitchen then back again.
Once FH gets up and gets motivated he's going to back the car into the front yard so I can give it a good bath inside and out while he works in his shed seeing how todays temp is goin to be close to 50.
