Rained and rained and rained some more, just stopped a little bit ago. Weather app says we got 1.51 inches during the day and .33 inches this evening (night). So 1.84 inches total. Gov emergency management agency sent out a Areal Flood Advisory which has now expired. We needed the rain maybe it'll help with the Mississippi river levels.

This evening farm babe shocked me. She asked if if was hungry? I said what's for dinner? She said we are going to cook together. I immediately placed my hand on her forehead to check for fever and pray for healing, but no fever, no prayer needed. Then I said OK? And we cooked patty melts and had a nice salad and store bought angel food cake topped with unsweetened strawberries and whipped cream. Now this is like a complete 180, she usually points her finger at me and says "You get out of my kitchen!". What has happened? who is this woman, who looks and talks exactly like my wife? I'm still wrestling with this in my mind.

But you do realize how difficult it is to get ducks put up when it's raining don't you? Ducks seem to think rain is like manna from heaven. It's best to wait for it to get dark, then go find them with a flashlight. They are easy to catch and put up at night. Crazy quacken, quack quack.

I enjoyed my day inside, where it is dry \o/. I hope you also enjoyed your day.

Jesus is Lord and Christ 🙏❤️🇺🇸

Good morning. Up at 5:30, brain didn’t come online until 6:00. Which makes me wonder why I didn’t sleep the extra half hour, I would have been just as productive if not more so. I know 5:30 is late sleeping for most of you though🤣.
I’m off to feeding and then I need to study for a test/quiz something or other in school. Then it’s off to school this morning.

I made three dinners at once last night so I don’t have to cook so much over the next few days. I’ve got a garden to plan!

Hope y’all have a great day.

Rain day today and currently 42 degrees. Could just as easily be snow it is mind January after all 😂

Thankfully it's not snow
Thankful is not freezing
Thankful Almighty woke me up and allowed me to go from horizontal to vertical
Thankfully Jesus is my Lord and Savior
Thankful for the Holy Spirit.
Thankful I will be spending eternity in heaven
Thankful I will NOT be spending eternity in hell.

Wow that's a lot to be thankful for, isn't it? So how could today not be an awesome day for me to enjoy?

I hope you too enjoy your day!❤️

Psalm 50:14
Let thankfulness be your sacrifice to God, and keep your vows made to the Most High.
It’s amazing to me how great the Bible considers thankfulness to be, and how little we practice it.

Good Morning All! I know I know I'm late today but coffee is made and it's hot. Was up at 2:45 to get FH lunch and finish packing him for an overnight stay in VA Beach for work purposes which he had to leave the house at 4 so I went back to bed for a little bit. I guess I needed the extra couple of hours but am so looking forward to sleeping in a little longer tomorrow morning (yeah right I sleep in, doggone internal alarm clock will still go off between 3:30-3:45 tomorrow)
It's a chilly morning because of the rain.
