Checking doe backsides this morn I found one passing placenta. Tan kid being cleaned and encouraged to nurse. It did. . Tan doeling, FF doe. Everyone is fine. It was warm and sunny for her first day "out".

Left is 1 table spoon of monk fruit. Right is 1 table spoon of table sugar. Both jars have 8 ounces of spring water from the same bottle and I split a package of nottingham ale yeast between the two jars. This is enough nottingham ale yeast to fire up 10 gallons of wort for beer.

We shall see... Shalt we? Yes we will

Having my morning awakening -- coffee, straight up

Thinking gardening thoughts because my weather is great. And I'm sure craving those ripe on the vine tomatoes!! . Since that's not happening today, I'll resort to some home canned chunks later today. . Close enough for Feb.

Maybe I'll pick up some potting soil today.

On my second cup of coffee. Sheep are on their feet, I’ll have to get dressed and get out there to greet the day. Gloomy, cloudy, gonna rain day.

Trying to gulp my first cup of coffee. Been out to move vehicles, open gate, and bring trash can inside. Today my dryer should be delivered, at last!
Looking at my living room and thinking if what else should I need to begin my seed planting. It's a gloomy day out here. It's raining and the wind is blowing hard. They said to expect 50mph winds. What a bummer!
Well, I might need fluolamps or something. Most my friends have lamps to start their seeds. I just wish to do better this year in my garden.

Need another cup and get back to my morning reading.

We had rain and above-freezing temps for about 24 hours. Roads are fine, but my driveway is bumpy ice with water sick and puddles. DS7 fell twice on his way to the bus and came back home. I drove him out to the bus stop (1/4 mile).

The sunrise is getting earlier!
