Beef bacon? Please find out where he cuts it from. Maybe in a year or two, I’ll raise a steer and I sure would like to try that.First time ever trying beef bacon one of our local processors cuts and packages it. I thought I would give it a try. that is good news, I know you are relieved.They downgraded the level 3 area to level 2 as the fire moved east instead of west. So Mom's still in level 2. As long as the wind stays normal, they should be fine now. The fire is out in the scrub with sagebrush and russian olive trees. The outcroppings of basalt make getting fire trucks out there impossible. They keep dropping water from planes and copters.
It's not a big townsite. Half is in level 2 and the other half is in level 1.
