@Country homesteader .... Hmmm. Two days makes a time crunch for baking! Better push hard. Guys never listen! 😖

Same 25* and whiteness here this morning. It's pretty. It's melting. It's sunshine wonderful....it's all the glow I need...couple hrs worth

Time for another cuppa. First of 6 days at home...yah!! Buzzer just happened -- need to empty dryer, toss another load in and fold dry stuff. Good start to my day. Extra hay out last night meant they had plenty without me this morning. :oldeat up, don't waste it!

That's a task for this week...more hay racks. 👍🤞

Mom did 50 dozen sugar cookies over the last weekend. Still needs to frost them. Then she will take them around. She says this is the last year.
DANG! I don't even know enough people to give 50 dozen cookies too!

Kudos to your mom for that. That is a lot of baking!

There are fights over cookies with some of the cousins. Mom's side of the family is quite large now. I actually knew everyone when I was a kid but now those around my age have a grandkid or two.

Great grandparents came from Switzerland around 1918 and 1920 I think. They had 6 kids. 21 grandkids (Mom's generation). I'm the oldest of my generation. Mom doesn't make cookies for all of them, but takes a whole bunch to the main family home and one of her first cousins gets a personal bunch. Then Mom and Dad's siblings that are local and my brothers. She made me some to take at Thanksgiving. They are sitting in the freezer.
