I'm sad for the lady and for the loss of who was a good person, according to fbook posts. May he rot in hell when his time comes.

I'm a tiny bit relieved that we are still in an ok area.

You do not need the crap that we deal with up here. We're too close to heavily populated areas. It's much calmer where Mom is and she can't imagine things being regular occurrences.

I lived in a really bad part of Norfolk, VA at one point for a year. Only apt available short notice when I was getting divorced. Slept on the floor because it was below the window level of the brick building. Gun under pillow. Shootings every night. At least twice a week police would be searching for someone. Paid rent. Was polite to neighbors. Ignored everything. Had a small black dog everyone was afraid of because they couldn't see it in the dark.

Tank is 10 weeks old today. Hard for me to believe how much he's grown in 4 weeks, but he has.

Was crazy windy today, then rain, still raining, which is nice we need it. Tank wants to go outside and play but I'm not going out with him in the rain. He'll just have to settle for looking out the window instead.
