CC, something tells me you got mystery chicks there. Silver Laced Wyandottes are supposed to look like this:

They’re very cute though. No wonder your doggie loves them!

I asked Almighty for a lab pup back in May. I wasn't specific, just a lab pup. Well I found out last night there's 7 yellow lab pups born up the road 4 weeks ago, 2 females 5 males. I get first choice, free is free.

The biggest boy they named tank and the second biggest boy they named brutus. Tank came running up to meet me first and jumped up in my lap when I squatted down. Brutus the second biggest male, has a pink nose and blue eyes pretty unique and a cute puppy dog face. The other 5 are just as cute and friendly.

I couldnt decide which one, having 7 pups running around plus their momma, it was hard to keep track. So I asked FB, she said I was just watching them all playing and how they are interacting with you. Tank keeps coming over to you and most definitely likes you most. So tank it is.

This is tank, sitting on my leg, he's the biggest of the litter by far. He has no white markings at all, all yellow and has huge webbed feet. He'll be my pup soon, I'm not changing his name.

Here's brutus, what a cute pup, but he's not my pup.

How exciting! 🥰. Labs are usually great family dogs. This will make 3 homestead dogs now?

Makes me think I need at least one here 😊. Nothing like puppy snuggles to start your day.

My granddaughters are excited about PawPaws new puppy but he won't be here for a few more weeks. They are out back playing animal shelter with our 4 tom cats

I'm not looking forward to the chewing up everything in sight phase. But I have a couple deer antlers to get him started. Here's another pic of tank. I'm going to try and take him just about every where I go.

our first dog was a golden. a hunting dog my uncle had which he could never use so my Dad got him for us, but it turned out he really wanted to roam and would not stay penned up before finding a way out. so he was off on adventures a lot of the time and eventually we'd get a call to come pick him up. one time too many, we did not get a call the last time so either he found a happier home or didn't make it. :( but he was a good dog, he was never mean to any of us kids or anyone else we noticed.
