One of my sons and I ripped out a old (1980's) fence row today. Woven wire + barb wire + 1 hot wire, what a flipping mess! Once we got all that wire, t-posts, locust posts and bigger trees out of there, we hitched up the bush hog and chopped it all down to the ground. FB is happy and will put it in mow.

Now I can plant a row of potted apple trees we grafted last year. But truth is I'm too whooped to plant trees today. It's such a beautiful sunny day again and I feel like I should be doing something outside with the rest of the daylight. But the old guy, just aint so young anymore:old

@CrealCritter did you finish the chicken coop and move the chickens in? don't remember reading about it....
It lacks a little bit more, I'm working on the front. What I need a few days warm days to paint a little, so it can dry. I might do some painting in the morning.

Being from Virginia, you might recognize the style. I really liked those old turn of the century 6 inch lap wood sided houses. So why not for a chicken coop?

Chicken doors, one for each garden :)

Yeah, we slow up. :old :love gets done, tales longer. 🤣
Tales longer? it took me a while... takes longer. But my tale was whipped also, that's what led to my slowness 😒. So glad to have that fence row out. And a good night's sleep got me going again 😀

I found a apple and mulberry tree in that fence row. We pulled the honey suckles of both, trimmed them up and left them standing. Hard telling what kind of apple it is, or if the mulberry is male or female. I reckon I'll find out soon enough. But that's the second wild apple tree I found here so far.
