Cicadas are harmless fun. Noisy yes, but a rarity I enjoy. Watching critters feed on the plenty is cool to watch

Storms this afternoon passed about 10 miles to the north, storms this evening are tracking more to the south. Did get some dirt therapy after all - planted a few peonies for the wife

With the lake across the way, we may have a bald eagle nest? Haven't seen any birds today near it.

Yep... the annual and 17 year brood. There are so many it would be impossible to count them all.
