good morning, 1731936682050.png

It has been busy! We have a new grandbaby boy!! born in the 17th
we now have 12 grandchildren.

We went to Fred hutch oncology on Friday. DH wanted her to run a 6mo CT's, and a full everything blood panel , cholesterol, hormone panel ect.... this would help him know how aggressive his cancer is and what additional steps he MAY want to take and how the rest of his body is doing.
The oncologist only ran the necessary prostate blood work CBC/BMP and a PSA. All a PSA test tells you is how ticked off or how appy the prostate is. If a man goes bike riding and then has a psa test he will have elevate psa levels.
Bottom line, she said unless you are doing the antigen depravation therapy ADT ordering more tests are pointless. she wont do it............

despite he has been on an extrema Naturopath regimen NOPE-

We do go to the cardiologist on Thur. to get another ZIO patch.

Saturday, I made enchiladas for an elder meting here at the house, and then made a lot of meatloaf for Sunday potluck.

After church I went to costco and snagged roasted chickens and salad , we took it all over to our sons for him and all the kids. I was so glad and blessed to see all of the grandchildren and hold our new grandbaby boy

Congrats on that new grandbaby!

Your chickens are lovingly spoiled. 🤭 Mine won't get to see that set up --- nope. They go into their appointed barns or not 🤷. But our weather much milder here.

Sorry you guys couldn't get the updated blood work wanted. Guess they only want to monitor their own chemicals 😣

I got weepy yesterday, late afternoon. It didn't help that my Ball book pie filling overflowed out of two water bath'd jars, and I had left a 1.5" headspace. But I was weepy due to listening to old songs from the 70's and early 80's. Leo Sayer, England Dan and John Ford Coley, Seals and Crofts, and more.

I suppose I'm lamenting the past and the experiences and fun times I had.

Hahaha, I do fuss over them,
Well our NP will do what we need, we will just pay out of pocket for it all, the VA will not pay anything or even an MD with NP in their title.

Steady on and and look at all the blessing you have right this minute,, and dont let the "yesterdays" creep in and rob you of today. I know it is hard, and a moment by moment fight.
I will keep you in prayer sister.

Our neighbor gave us a ameraucana rooter last night. Well actually they were a little scared of it and the two roosters got to fighting, so they asked me if I would come and get it. So I walked over there and snatched him up off the roost and walked him to FB's hen house, opened the door an set him inside. He was pretty gentle didn't even try to get out of underneath my arm. All things considering, he seems pretty tame, best I can tell he ain't mean. I could tell their children loved on him a little, he didn't mind being handled.

They hatched him out from a green egg so I suppose that makes him part ameraucana. Last week they asked me if he was a rooster. I said yep he sure is a rooster. The next day he crowed for the first time and they discovered he really was a rooster.

It's so nice to hear the sound of a rooster crowing again. Strange how you miss some sounds, isn't it? Now I don't need an alarm clock anymore.

Up at 5:30am this morning. Half a cuppa coffee down so far - much more to go. Another doc appt for DH this morning.

Cooler weather is nice - 57 this morning. Rain has been appreciated but I'm over it now. Need some sunshine!

Grandson's 18th birthday today. Whew, time does fly!
