Happy Thanksgiving! Getting a dusting of snow this morning. Thankfully the wind is coming directly out of the west, so the heavy lake effect snow is up to the northeast of us.

Oh, and the wife's neice is one of the banner carriers in the Macy's parade this morning for the band comprised of individuals from all over the US

@FarmerJamie that's more snow than I've had in past 2 yrs. More than enough! Hope I didn't jinx myself.

Haven't been on here for a couple months... mostly BYH, and not as much as I used to. Just lots of normal stuff and DS has been off work due to ongoing complications from a workman's comp accident several years ago... looks like they are putting him on long term disability...good for 5 years ..... but lawyer has said he legally cannot even do the farm work... they haven't settled yet even... he has 4 years to full retirement from work so has been trying to figure how to make this all work.... for the winter he will be okay, but come spring when we need to start making hay and all... it is going to get difficult... many days he has trouble driving back from dr appts... and it is over 1 1/2 hrs at least every 2 weeks... so I have been doing alot of the driving lately.....

@The Porch ... just caught up with your situation... I am so very sorry.... prayers for both....

Came down with a bad cold... get one like this about once a year or 2 years .... so have been pretty much inactive the last 2-3 days... will take about 10 days to run it's course..... feeling pretty rough for last 3 days....

Going to try to catch up on some posts the next couple of days...

Times are tough and we that know how and have the heart to hang tough are getting older and it is just, tougher

I do all the everything here now , DH wants and trys to help but , its limited.
