I got my ice chipper and snow shovel out of the barn. Have 20 gallons of gasoline on hand for the generator.

Well, I'm on the border of yes or no...depends on which strength carries forward. I'm usually on the "to be continued" side of this stuff. So Sun night possible icey rain OR 1-2" snow. Great!

Renewed my driver's license today. Wait time for walk in was a couple hours. It was packed. I had an appointment. Don't know why others didn't use that option. Appointments are encouraged. I was seen within 5 minutes of my time.

Got to hear people arguing with the clerks because they didn't bring required documents. That they didn't need them. It's all of 2-3 items for enhanced DL. Birth certificate and vehicle registration for address work for most. I had to have marriage cert. for name change as well. Less than 10 minutes for her to enter stuff, picture, pay, done.

No , I don’t think it would be wise to think that we won’t get any snow. I’ll read the sky the old way , watch the thermometer.
I will go down next Monday and prune the fruit trees, I always do the same time every year.

Up at 2:45am , built a fire and made coffee.
Going to read a while. I know I will take a nap later. Made some wonderful thanksgiving turkey bone broth on Wednesday. Been doing a broth fast the last two days, trying to get over this bug. The headache was better yesterday and I got all the laundry and lite housework done.
I did dust the living room and will get it mopped later. Then move on to the front hall and dining room/ kitchen. Then a nap if this is the worst of catching local crud for 2024 I think I did good .
