We are expecting something (snow/rain/sleet/ice) maybe all 4? We just don't know what it'll be yet.

the order is important! if it rains and ices first or last matters when it comes down to how fast i want to get out to shovel...

currently some snow coming down. probably will shovel a little in a few minutes.

Well, I give up, I am not ment to finish my 2024 chore list, no mopping this weekend.
I still have a headache,
I took care of the chickens and dogs , got a shower and made the bed.
And just feel blah so not going to push it. I was wondering this morning, how in the world did I run the house, raise 4 kids, homeschool, and get it all done even if I didn’t feel good. oh ya I was 25 years younger

Very steady wind, all day. Made it cold. Out of wind it wasn't bad Reports suggest same tomorrow 15-18 mph. It sure makes things less than fun! But Sunday should be "the calm before the storm". Just a light breeze....all hay feeders will be stuffed that evening as rains (or?) are supposed to roll in about midnight. Maybe we can all sleep in around here

Had to take the wife for a doctor's visit first thing yesterday morning. Luckily, missed the bad stuff coming in by about 30 minutes, so safe and sound. Have no idea how much snow we have so far

Hunkered down for the weekend, still snowing this morning. This is all lake effect snow, not the storm coming across the Ohio Valley. Most of it should miss us.

I ventured out to fill the bird feeders. Looks like we had about 4 inches the past 36 hours

It's cold teens to 20s at night but the front is probably hitting around midnight Sun...staying thru Monday. Expecting messy "something". Winds have been as much issue as anything last 3 days.
Tomorrow actually decent temps & only light breeze, they say. That's good. Goats kidding! Two at dusk today...hope next two really ready ones do their thing tomorrow. Better for all of us here
