Sounds like a nightmare
It was while she was here but thankfully I had days where I could escape her presence (my job)
i'd say another way to improve things would be to tell him to go visit her at her place
I am going to seeing how I don't think she's going to be able to travel down here in June/July because she has to have another surgery.
What does the SIL object to? Dogs in the house? Are your cleaning standards not up to her level of expectations? Is your husband happy with your house cleaning when she is not around?
she did object to the dogs in the house, she's NOT an animal person at all but he and I both stressed the point we have 5 dogs and NO my cleaning standards wasn't up to her level (she's a germophobe OCD freak). There is days he isn't happy with my cleaning but there's LOTS more days where he is completely satisfied with my cleaning.
By the way GOOD MORNING ALL! There is at least a cup or two depending on the size of the cup remaining in my pot so help yourselves. I also have Hot cocoa packets (no milk though) next to the coffee pot and there is tea bags in a canister in the cupboard.
I'm enjoying my second cup of coffee while H and the dogs are sleeping still. H didn't get home last night until around 11 seeing how he was on snow duty (he's a member of the Rapid Response team that Vdot and his employer has set up for the first time).

Good morning! Got a job yesterday, so very excited about that. I start Monday as an RBT, so working with autistic kids. Friday I’ll be volunteering for a local night to shine, which is basically a formal dance for special needs teens.

Found some more mold and water damage in my floor so move out date is pushed again. I knew it was a fixer, but owning my own place is starting to sink in…just like my floor. Seriously though, I’m grateful and just going to fix it as it comes.
Praise God.

Congratulations @Messybun on your house. Yup, mold and water damage is very hurtful to a house just make sure that the floor supports and beams aren't infected with the mold or too badly damaged by the water damage. Hopefully you didn't pay tons of money for the house seeing how you are going to need to put a lot of money into it to make it livable.

Believe it's a trailer, so lots of metal under there. But rip it out & cry over expense! Hope it only the floor and not a roof leak, running down wall TO the floor. 😖🤔

@Country homesteader next time, tell her to do the cleaning and you'll watch to learn.

Light rains here. Leftover from last night. A damp cold...brrr. warmer tomorrow. It's Feb, after all 🥴
