I think someone is loaning her one, this year. 🤞🤞
Yeah, they're expensive but doing every year makes it worthwhile! This is when you want a half ownership
Last year our little community talked about buying one and splitting the cost. But they wanted me to raise the ccx. It's a lot of work keeping those piranhas, fat, dumb and happy.

Farm Babe looked at the thermometer and said "its a heat wave out there, almost 30 degrees!" To me, It's almost beyond expression to allow the sun shine on my face and get it nice and toasty warm. I cant put it in to words. So I'll just say, I ❤️☀️

Wound up with 26 pullets. Plus the 80 chicks I already have. It’s going to be a chicken festival around here. LOL
On second cup of coffee, made 3 this morning. Was awake at 4:30, chickens on the brain. Low of only 32 high today of 48!!!!!! I’m so tired of freezing weather. Not set up here for that at all. Been carrying two 5 gallon buckets 3/4 full of hot water to the sheep, 6-8 trips every morning, not as many in the evening because it’s just going to freeze again. Busting ice with a shovel, I’m done with this! Lows for the next 10 days are in the 40’s, highs in the 60’s and 70’s.
Goodbye February!
