Gorgeous weather yesterday! Rescheduled job work and stayed home! Walked around the farm. Need to mow some junk areas, up some fence that's waiting in rolls. 😋

Weekend is supposed to be mid 70s and that's exciting. Maybe I'll get tomato & pepper seed into starter cups! Hopefully, till garden in a week or so.

Starting to get daylight. Roosters are crowing 🤣 house smells of this fresh coffee in enjoying. Better do chores done & go to work. Life is good.

@Alaskan Saw this article in my FB feed.

During overflights on March 7 and 11, AVO measured significantly elevated volcanic gas emissions from Mount Spurr volcano, Alaska. The increase in gas emissions confirms that new magma has intruded into the Earth’s crust beneath the volcano and indicates that an eruption could occur within the next few weeks or months. Super cool!!!

I didn't realize I could set up text notifications for the volcanoes.

Thanks!

Our refrigerator went out a couple of days ago. It was built in May of 2016. LG four door fancy ss one. We had already fixed it once when the fan iced up. This time, we all watched utubes and son and hubs tried and tried. No luck.

I went online and found out there was a class action lawsuit in 2020 against LG about their linear compressors. I don't know if the former owners got the compressor replaced. But here we are.

I posted the fridge on FB Give and Receive and got over 15 replies. All of them were that their experiences with their refrigerators, regardless of brand, were dismal. Yes, the old ones are still running. But these new ones die within 5 or 8 years. I was trying to give it away to someone who could buy the compressor on A for $500 and then know how to weld and install it. Nobody wants it.

So off to Lowes and we bought a new one made by GE; also a 4 door. Also bought a dishwasher and a single oven, and a gas range top. I'll try to sell the old dw, double oven, and range top. They still work.........

Just kidding about the first photo. I took that at an estate sale - now that's old! and the sign said it still worked!!
That estate sale thing...

Oven? Those are a bunch of knobs for only 2 doors??

Very cool!!!

Evidently got food poisoning last night from only 3 bites of coleslaw, but tasted off. Was not a restful night. Trying to get rehydrated this morning
Food poisoning cure; Apple cider vinegar and honey mixed half and half. Put a shot on a small glass of cold water and SIP on it. Even if still throwing up, sip until gone. Vomiting and diarrhea will stop in 30-45 minutes.

To rehydrate, mix 5 spoonfuls of sugar with one spoonful of salt in glass of water. It makes an electrolyte solution and you will feel better fast.

Few days warm, few chilled, back to warm tomorrow 😄 Finishing 2nd cuppa & ready for chores before going to work. Believe I have a doe that'll kid today, maybe now -- they like daybreak -- and looks like last holdout :fl which is great! I'm only looking for a single, also ok.

Good morning,
I Pray you all faired well over the last month and a half.
We have stayed busy, had a roof and siding inspection and on the crawl space.
The crawl space needs 7 smart jacks. The 4 concrete pads for the support posts for the main floor beam have been sinking a bit over the last 37yrs.
We are getting a new roof and siding. A lot going on with both areas.

We did get a wood chipper so I can have chips for the run; garden and compost .
I got tomatoes and jalapeños ordered yesterday for the end of April.
So as the rain , hopefully, backs off and it warms up a bit , which won’t be until Monday, I get busy with the garden prep.
But I can get going on the slash piles with the chipper.
Today- it’s cold

AND I have a huge Praise report,
Thanking the good, good Father
DH had a PET-PSMA scan— all cancer is undetectable.
He is in Remission 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
I thank all of you for your prayers.
He isn’t totally out of the woods so we will stay on the current naturopathic course and get PSA bloodwork every 3 months.
But this is good.
