Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

Coffee is ready. Going to meet friends at the Sheriffs breakfast this morning. During the school year, our Sheriff has a breakfast once a month and takes donations. The money is turned over to a board of directors. Any graduating students in Trinity county can apply for a scholarship to go to a trade school. Last year, 11 scholarships were given out at $4,000 each. He does pet adoption at TSC once a month and posts “found” pets trying to reunite them with their families.

Also, taking the leap and engaging a concrete contractor. Will get the patio and stuff in June.

The installation crew was a young woman tech with a young man as her helper. Her dad owns the business. There are 13 kids in the family, some born to the parents, some adopted from negligent parents, some taken in from drug head parents, all loved and treated as their very own. Half of them work in the family business.

I raised 2 kids and I must have done a pretty good job of it. I was going to sell some of my meager investments but my kids stepped up and split the bill. I am so very blessed.

Coffee first, of course . Then a short job at a store near hay dealer, where I'll get just a few bales of hay -- back up stock. Made feed run yesterday. So far broody is still on eggs. Weekend to be sure things are done for back to work Monday. Heavy work schedule next week.

Still need to wean some goat kids.
