Coffee is good, on second cup. I’m finally finished with chickens. I’ll deliver 40 on Wednesday.

@CrealCritter have you had a check up lately? It’s a known fact that dogs sense our health issues. Could it be possible that Tank senses something wrong? He may be trying to tell you something.
yep so very true! and or he isnt feeling just right, didnt he have a swollen prostate or urinary infection?

I need a spot to seed the parsley, I may stick it in-between the blueberries. I want to get the Baker Creek Nagasaki Akari Kabu turnip seed in today. My plants are due today :wee

I ordered them from Territorial Seed. the Anaheim chili and early girl I picked up at HD several weeks ago are doing great outside even though we have had cold nights and mornings.
I noticed the basil is popping up and also the cilantro.
I broke the rules on seeding the parsnip's and carrots, my hands were to swollen to do it right so,, ya,, I just kind'of''' lightly dropped it in. Its 2022 seed,, so if it comes up great and it is dont no big deal. I didnt want to toss out some "maybe" seed.

The corn I planted was Baker Creek's Art Verrell Pacific Northwest Sweet Corn. It will germinate in our cool springs. I do have some yellow corn from Territorial I want to plant but I am going to have to get VERY creative, I am running out of space. As I look out the window, Maybe I can seed some in-between the herbs on the far north side and in-between rows. :caf 🤔 :caf

Have a great day
I would love to go sit with my coffee and watch the morning sun on the field of cows.

Don't you have two tractors???

Mine is small but, big enough. Changing out implements can be testy -- weight & muscle. I manage but appreciate help ☺️

Warm, mostly sunny, off/on light rains next 24 that might make you head for cover at times. It will certainly interrupt any lawn mowing, so I'll do that tomorrow.

Finishing some hot tea & heading out to check on everyone. One goat should kid anytime now. It's last one for a while -- probably fall. Have a broody one week from hatch☺️

Eldest is coming today. She and I are going to attend a Celebration of Life event for the father of her childhood friend this morning.

Afterwards, she's going to hang out for a while and help with a few things.

Coffee is really good this morning

I prayed and asked Mr. Almighty for a tractor with a front end loader. I wasn't specific other than I would like a front loader, with a bucket and a set of forks, but most importantly something FB can operate.

and if it is His will you will have one.

but dont let me catch you humming to Janis Joplin , "Oh Lord, wont cha buy me,,," :gig:oops::gig

Well,
I started out only going to mow around the house but,,,
IAs I got close the the front fence I went ahead and mowed the slop that goes down to the driveway- then was only going to mow where we open the field gate, but then I started mowing the field, and then , I went outside the field and mowed where we walk up to the top of the property,, and then back to the field. I got the NW 1/4 and went and got the weed-eater, then I wacked all of the 1/2 moon that goes around the yard/garden/back of the house.
so

I still need to do the east side of the ditch, but its mostly dry and would only take an hour or two.
I got a very hot shower and promptly got Aspercream on my hands and elbows.,

We grabbed and apple and beef stick and electrolytes in my water mug for dinner and headed out to the ball park
I got to see my 7grandkids and yack with my DDIL,
