Sooo, just because this week wasn't fun enough, what with the blisters from monday and the surgery tomorrow, I went and wacked myself in the face with a 4x4. And now I have stitches in my eyebrow. This week just keeps getting better and better
Oh no!! Be careful out there!

Someone is giving me serious competition for "Clutz of the Year"!

So we have me with a sliced thumb due to not using the safety guard on my mandolin slicer, Ally with her twisted ankle, and now Matthew and his 2x4. I am falling behind!!!

:gig :gig Ah WZ I love you :p That was a good bit of a laugh for the day. Sorry about your thumb! On the bright side, my work gave me the day off! Which is funny because I am still scheduled to work tomorrow afternoon/evening, which is the day of my hyena surgery! *sigh* what fun! :)

Best of luck on the surgery. I had the mesh implanted to help the healing after my "hyena" work. For a month it felt like my underwear was constantly slipping down - I wanted to tug it up all the time. :D

And now I don't want to go. I'll be good, I'll never lift anything heavy again, I'll just sit on my chair for the rest of my life. I don't want that now. :hide :hide

No worries, 10 days after the surgery, the doctor cleared me to go to an amusement park with my daughter's school choir group. "Have fun riding coasters, you're good to go!" was the last I heard from him.

After a month, the mesh dissolved. 'tis all good. :D

Ok, so moving on to a new topic :D

We have nine turkey eggs out in the coop under the hens. We had ten but one of them has gone missing, literally! Not the issue however. I candled them and it looks like one or two might be developing, several appear not to be developing, and a couple look literally green! I assume that if they look green, and waaay more full than the rest, they are probably rotten and need to go? I'm trying to find pics and can't so thought I'd ask here :D

Oh, yay! I'm glad I helped you out on the bee stuff! I think I am probably babying mine too much :p My cousin said "why are you feeding them in August? We would have stopped feeding them in June" Then again I had a weak hive and got them late so I'm probably overdoing it some.

I hope everything goes alright for you, we've missed you! Sounds like we're all getting clutsy these days....I'm going to the chiro for my back issues.

Well, I survived my surgery. I. Don't. Feel. GOOD.! SO called my in to work, which is funny because he didn't so much as call me in to work as call and tell them that I was not going to be there until after my dr followup on monday. He told them what to do and left it at that. I love him :) And he made me a fort of supplies and such so the only time I need to get up is for bm's :)
