I read an article, I believe it was posted in October. (@TexasLisa , and @Beekissed , did you both read that article also?) that talked about the plan to link public services in USA to covid vaccine. The plan was underway even before they claimed to have the vaccine to force people to be vaccinated in order to receive: State subsidized medical insurance, WIC program, and other subsidized services for the poor. I speculate that it will also be a requirement in the work place, schools, day cares, and for medical insurance coverage. I was forced to get flu vaccine in order to work in health care field. Even though flu vaccine made me ill, and wearing a mask makes me ill.

Yes, I believe it is. Don't you find it interesting that they would require covid vaccination in order to receive public services. But would not require any kind of reciprocation from the recipient in terms of continuing education, volunteer service, or some sort of nominal work committment (to work towards getting off the public assistance rolls). Keep the peasants dependent, so they are more easily controlled.

USA study in: https://www.npr.org/sections/corona...eeks-earlier-than-previously-known-study-says

I had a horrible cough in December 2019-January 2020. I had wondered if it was COVID, but there was no evidence suggesting that was possible. (Could have been any novel respiratory virus?)

But now there's evidence that COVID was circulating in the USA before the Wuhan outbreak made the news.

Its not as far-fetched as I had previously thought. Interesting. Wish I knew. Maybe we havent gotten sick from known exposures because we all have natural immunity already. I probably wouldnt do anything differently myself, but I would get DS5 back into gymnastics class, playdates, and add karate class he has been wanting.

There was a time, years back -- the receipients had to do public service or training. Believe it got canned as those who "could" complained about those who "couldn't" and still getting, as unfair.

I haven't seen anything that is definate to require these vaccines be taken for subsidies. It would thrill me to see some of those able and receiving aid to respond with efforts to help their communities.

I believe that education or public service should be a requirement for public assistance. Of course, there will always be SOME who simply CAN'T do so, but those are the exemption. And, even in those instances, there is likely SOMETHING they can do that will be of benefit to someone else. Scripture is very plain: II Thessalonians 3: 11, 12 For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: "If a man will not work, he shall not eat." We hear that some among you are idle. They are not busy; they are busybodies. Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the bread they eat.

@Hardknockshomestead I like that you made your own cough syrup. I have made cough syrup from honeysuckle. We don't have black cherry here, maybe I should plant some. We pick wild elderberry every summer and I make elderberry syrup. It is anti-flu and cold, it keeps the virus from replicating. We take a couple tablespoons every morning, if we get to feeling bad, we take it 3-4 times a day.

It was my 1st time making black cherry cough suppressant. I didn't really expect it would work as my experience with natural remedies has always seemed to be they are mild and not as effective as manufactured medications.
I was impressed!
Now I'm curious about what species of honeysuckle you have where you live; I didn't know honeysuckle has medicinal qualities! I'd love to know more from you about it.

@hardknockhomestead, we're neighbors! At first glance yesterday's case count looks better, but apparently there were only 70 tests done. 😑

I'm sorry to hear your family was affected too. How did you know to use wild cherry twigs? Can I get/buy some from you?

Well hi, Neighbor! Sorry I took so long to get back to you. Yes, things look grim here. I hope you and yours are healthy and doing well!
Yes I will be happy to share and maybe barter wild medicinals with you, and also with others here. Not interested in making money with any knowledge I have, only to maybe share/trade skills as there is so much to learn from others.

I just used the wild honeysuckle growing on fence rows. It has white and yellow flowers.
