Oh I didnt tell you guys about the couple I was listening to in the store Friday. Everything was pretty stripped. They were holding a jar of pickles talking about how they could use the juice to disinfect the counters because there wasn't any vinegar to buy.
SMH How, just HOW is it possible for ANYONE to be so ill prepared. Do these people NEVER clean their house? And, now, with a pandemic, they suddenly have to buy a cleaning product? Do they not have ANYTHING at home to sanitize with????????

right?! I have plenty of Lysol-type products because I bought it 2 years ago when we got norovirus for Christmas. So I know what to use AND, more importantly, I know how much my family would use.

I know the bleach to water ratio and always have a small bottle for disinfecting or making water drinkable. That is the only use here. It's only used when I'm doing butchering or fish.

Chlorine bleach doesn't play well with iron in water so no use in laundry. Clorox 2 helps with the laundry and iron problem.

My family in Eastern Oregon is all fine mostly. It's sad how the largest town on the East side only has a Walmart and a Safeway for groceries now. Not enough really for the population. There were 4 when the town was half the size.

A co-worker was complaining because there was no Formula in the store and she is almost out for her 3 month old. People are hoarding BABY FORMULA because it lasts longer than Dry Milk Powder. Now, those that need it for their babies can't find any. So sad.

Walmart went in when I was in high school almost 30 years ago. It drove out two of the groceries. The Red Apple went under a few years ago. I blame location on that some. There was a Mexican grocer that was there for at least the last decade that close last year. Mom was upset about that. They had best prices on a lot of things and good produce.

Grocery Outlet is going in there, but you have to know prices to shop there. Some things aren't deals. Actually I can't remember if the Grocery Outlet left when Walmart came in or before. It went by Canned Foods at that time and had been there years. I didn't count that so I guess there was 5 stores at one time.

Have they not tasted baby formula? I can't believe we feed that to kids. No one is going to use that on cereal. That's moronic level hoarding there.
