Yay!! Refinancing is done!!! :D :weee:clap:thumbsup

Feels like it took forever to finish everything (and a bunch of little hiccups on the way :I ) but it is finally done!!
Now we'll have a little more moolah freed up to get other things done, like fix the spare car up or build the rabbit cages the twinsie's been wanting to do! :clap

Alrighty that's my good news lol

Before I sign off for the night does anyone have any tips, tricks, patterns or wisdom to give to a begginer for quilts?
I'm not entirely sure why but recently I have been having a strong hankering to make quilts. So strong in fact ive been saving old shirts, jeans, fabrics etc for it for a few months now but I'm not 100% sure where to start past that :hu
Hope everyone's been doing as well as possible and have been having a good day!

Congrats on the re-fi and the extra moolah!

I've never made a quilt - so when you figure it out we'll expect step-by-step instructions, lol!

I've found a quilt pattern to try, its called 'floating stars' looks pretty easy now just need to get all the supplies Involved

I feel very productive at this moment. I'm kicking butt on my work quota and last night got a bunch of canning and stuff done!

Did green beans and sweet pepper jelly and some sweet pickles, hoping to get tomatoes sauce done tonight

Super proud on the beans even though several of the jars didn't seal (I think the newnlids have a big hand in that!)
Powow was handing out crates of greenbeans I am definatly done with those for at least a week or so. All beaned out lol, the ones pictured are just what was left over from the group I just didn't think I'd be able yo stay awake and finish from the prior night. (There's about 2oish more I can't remember off toppa my head lol)

Also I made more lip gloss, made it mint chocolate this time :)
Hoping maby do something coffee flavored soon as I know a few peeps who love love love coffee flavored things
Well back to work

Its been awhile since my last update!!! °^°;
Sorry bout that guys, been lots going on that's for sure!!

We now have a new duck (?) To be honest I have suspicion it may not be a duck but a goose- it was a tiny Lil bugger but now its way bigger than our ducks were at this point (or has it just been that long? :'/ )
Anyways, Twinnie got an incubator and if all goes well we'll have some more Lil ones very soon!

Tried some new canning recipes, which I eagerly have to wait to try :/
Hot cumin pickled squash
Watermelon rind pickles
Watermelon jelly (this came out more like syrup- but i'll definatly be trying it out again! Just maby a different pectin I guess)
Also did applesauce! I'll definatly be looking into an immersian blender, Lil too chunky for my taste without it -nod-

I've also been on a big dehydrating kick ;')
Seasoned dried tomatoes slices (cracked black pepper and pink salt, tastes like an alcoholic-less bloody Mary!)
Did some plums as well (I think these would a been super boss with a sprinkle of pink salt too!)
And plenty of apple slices lol

Hope everyone's doing well and having good times!!!

You have certainly been busy. Can't wait to hear how some of your new recipes turned out. Especially interested in the hot cumin pickled squash. That sounds like a fantastic way to use up some extra squash! And, the dried tomato slices - oh my. That will be on my list this summer too, assuming I can get some tomatoes before the bugs do.... :)

Lol, so good! I dried some regular tomatoes previously and they were good! The seasoning improved it lol :3
I've not tried the cumin squash before and supposedly zucchini can be used that way too! I'll have to try that out, powwows got plenty of those lol
Oh! I also pickled cauliflower, gods I love pickled cauliflower! :p
I'll definatly be sure to post it here on how it goes!
