Last week I watered the bed with a 5 gallon solution of epsom salts in the water. I haven't had any yellow ends since. However, I'm concerned that I'm not getting as much size from my zucchinis this year as last. Last year I practically had to race to harvest them before they grew too large. This year I find myself waiting. :-(

Look on the bright side-at least you have something to harvest! The late frosts, freezes, horrible heat (somewhere other than Texas  ) and torrential rains many of us have experienced have messed up our growing season. My green beans are a full month later than they were last year, planted at the same time.

Could it be squash vine borers or squash bugs? I lost 6 zukes, about 15 pumpkin vines, 4 butternut squashes to these guys this year. It started the same - some yellowing, some leaves turning brown, low fruit output with discoloration, droopy leaves, then poof! All dead.

Something else to look for at least.
