Love mine! Have used one for maybe 20 yrs and so nice to get into a warm bed. There is no issue with wires in the bed with you @flowerbug, they are just not there
I will never be without one...never! I like my room to be ice cold - even in winter. But, I like my bed to be toasty. I like it set just warm enough that I can feel it...doesn't have to be hot. Having my feet warm and my head cool is perfect sleeping weather for me. :)

I'm still busy scanning photos, cards, and documents. I've done over 1,000 scans since I unboxed the scanner. I'm happy to clear out my physical junk and have digital backup for DH (who likes his physical junk). I made card keeper binders for DH and kids also. Simple - just binders, sheet protectors and a piece of cardstock slipped into each sheet protector. Makes pockets for keeping cards and letters, etc.

We have a heated mattress pad for the king size bed and bought a heated blanket for the queen size bed. DH and I both start out in the king size bed, but I tend to move to the queen bed for better sleep. It is nice to turn on the blanket when I crawl in the other bed and then when I switch beds in the middle of the night - I get to crawl into a warm bed. I turn off the blanket when I crawl into the bed or I get too hot and sleep like crap.

I wish they would fit. But, no, he doesn't use a special cleaniner. I don't know how/if/when he cleans it, lol. I stay away from "papa's machine" as my grands call it! Our oldest grandson was a bit afraid of it - so we called it papa's "snuffleupagus' costume."

I am the Buzz Saw, lol. DH asks me to leave so he can sleep.
Luckily our house has 2 bedrooms that are the same size, just opposite sides of the house. The Master Bedroom is on the east side and the guest bedroom (My bedroom) is on the west side. It works out great because he is an early riser - and he gets the sunrise. I like a cold room to sleep in and with my bedroom on the west side I get the cooler west winds and I can open the windows. DH doesn't like the windows open because he is a really light sleeper and he wakes up to most noises. I sleep like a rock.

@wyoDreamer similar here. DH and I periodically sleep in separate rooms. He sleeps poorly and has terrible sleep hygiene habits. I have diagnosed sleep disorder, but if I'm "religious" about sleep hygiene I sleep like a rock. I like to wake up 5 - 6 a.m. and keep the same sleep schedule regardless of days of the week or holidays. DH prefers to sleep in (a.k.a. give himself jet lag) when he can.

We are having concrete work done on the barn today. The wall is sinking on one corner. Once the barn is stable, next up is a new roof - which is very long overdue. The shingles blow off every storm!
