The Cornish are sassy, but they are quite friendly at least. The majority of my flock are the Dark Cornish, but I also have some Dominiques and a few Marans and one Wyandotte. They all love my grandson the "Kid".
I started training my sheep. I have 2 super-tame that come when called and follow me. And in the same group I have 2 that are pretty flighty and need to be herded. It's hard to move those 4 sheep (and their lambs) together!
I walked out like I was going to move them to new pasture. I withheld handfuls of grain when my tame girls were too pushy and gave lots of grain to the flighty ones when they dared. I'm please, the flighty girls were hanging close. The lambs are.... something else, but the more I move their mommas, the faster they'll come round.
DS10 is having a bad-behavior day so I'm stuck with keeping him in eyesight. I need to go to the garden to plant cucumbers and onions.... impatient!
My kiddo had a moderately bad behavior day until I started coming up with ridiculous "big kid" jobs. I'm going to pretend that works for 10 year olds lol!
DS10 finally finished school. He is digging holes for me for future flowers. I planted 300 onion sets, but didn't get to the cucumbers yet. DH is putting up sheep fence.
