Wow - that sounds like a really good bad day! Geeze louise - I seriously don't know how you don't just stay in bed all day. You are one tough cookie for sure! Congrats on getting so much accomplished. I swear - you do more in a day than I do and I'm relatively healthy! :bow

I spend plenty of days in bed! It's completely normal for me to spend half the day in bed. Makes me want to do things whenever I can!

Cardiology appointment was today! Cardiologist thinks it is POTS. I have a holter monitor now for the weekend to check out bradycardia and possible heart rate irregularities at night. I have echocardiogram next week to make sure my heart is structurally okay - mitral valve prolapse is differential diagnosis. Then tilt table test as soon as then can schedule it at the hospital. Tilt test is the final diagnostic test. If my body does its normal thing the day of the tilt, it will be time to move on to exploring treatment options. I'm excited! It's finally happening!

I'm so glad you're getting this testing done! Hopefully they can do something positive for your symptoms!

Prayers for your continued progress toward health.

Sumi's comment reminded me of a short sci-fi story I read years ago, about a scientist that wondered what would happen if a crocodile had a 4-chambered heart instead of the 3-chambered heart they have, so he did surgery on a couple of crocodiles. They started to grow and change with the increase... eventually they turned into... DRAGONS! lol

I had my echocardiogram this morning. I have 4 chambers to my heart - I could see that much. Sadly, I won't be turning into a dragon. :D I should get results tomorrow by phone.

I went shopping, got some caffeine (vasoconstriction to reduce symptoms) and I've been busy since!
  • Planted all my flats of seedlings
  • Made a crude sawbuck saddle for training my goat
  • Trained my goat 2x - I think this is going to be easy!
  • Weeded garden with DH
  • Washed hardwood floor and treated it with a high gloss solution
  • Ran errands, including more goodwill donations.
  • Plus all the normal stuff. Except supper. LOL We grazed leftovers and odds and ends at 9 p.m.

We were on a mini vacation in the Ozarks for my cousin's wedding. We came home early because the last hotel had bedbugs! We were 6 hours from home so we got a refund and drove home overnight. It took most of the next day to unpack and treat everything for bedbugs. Anything that couldn't go through the wash is in freezers to kill any potential hitchhikers.

We are catching up on chores. The weeds don't go on vacation! We went shopping quick today, stopped for gas and saw a sale on butter! It has been a long time and I was nervous because we didn't have butter sales for June dairy month and I only had 3 lbs left. I bought 20 pounds of butter, should last in the freezer until the next sale.
