I'm so over it! DH and I are both away from home 12 hours/day, 5 days/week. He works every 3rd Saturday and I work ~8 hours every Saturday. We don't have time for cleaning/maintaining this much stuff.

Now I need to consider many boxes of things from Mom's house...yrs ago! Yeah. winter project.

I’m still going through boxes and getting rid of stuff. Been here 2 years, finally got pictures ip in the living room and in granddaughters room. Have pile of get rid of pictures. Have stacked boxes at son’s house to get rid of.

You are inspiring me to step it up and haul unwanted stuff to a resale shop and make them one heck of a good deal!

on a good note though the other day i was gifted with a sharpening stone and a steel for knives that was from his father that he would never use as he's not cooking any longer.

i told him i was honored as they are both very useful to me and i'll use them the rest of my life and i told him i'd think of him and his father each time i used them. so not all stuff isn't useful to someone else... if you can pass it along...
