Nice quote! That's my favorite saint, being an animal lover. Where did you get it?

Hilarious! My DH is laughing, too!

I don't know when half of my cups and glasses turned into dribble cups. Most annoying. And sadly, I can relate to all the t-shirt comments here.
AND of course, everyone we knew thought that since we were in the country now, we wanted to store their stuff - not just the kids!

Well, my son moved out this year. Does that count?
Yes, but did he take all his stuff with him? Mine packed up most of his stuff when he moved out and put it in my garage because "it was too valuable to part with".... yeah right!
I kept bringing my kids boxes of "their" valuable "stuff" that they forgot LONG after the move out day. ;) They were there when it was being collected after all and I would hate for them to move out and have nothing. :(  :gig

Well, he took some of his stuff w/him. His room, though, is still full of junk! I've already told him that as soon as possible, he and I are going to go thru his room. Stuff will be divided as follows:

1. Stuff that he wants-it will go to his house

2. Stuff that's still good, but he doesn't want. He can either have a yard sale, or donate it.

3. Junk. It will be trashed.

And, it doesn't free up 2 rooms, only 1. This is a one bathroom home. :/

I did a massive cleanup last fall and need to do a new one. Literally took 40 large garbage bags worth of stuff to St. Vincent de Paul. I live in the middle of nowhere, so a rummage sale would never work.

I have to go through the books again. When I go through them, I'm pretty honest about what I'll really read again and what was crap.

THen, there is the job I hate - going through the kids toys and books. Anyone want an 8, 6, and 2-year-old while I go through all their stuff and get rid of it without them knowing. If they see me do it, all of a sudden it's their favorite stuff, again. :barnie
