I kind of sort of took it easy today. I did go back to bed this morning. And I was really out. KN called. When she called, I was having a dream that I was getting change into my bathing suit. So, as I'm talking to her I'm starting to get undressed to put on my bathing suit. I woke up enough to realize what I was doing, and stopped. Once I got off the phone w/her, I went back to sleep. I slept until 8:30! I needed to change my sheets. When I took my pillowcase off, I found that I drooled some last night, so now I had bloody spot on it. So, I hand washed that out the best I could. I now have an old pillowcase on my pillow. If I bleed anymore, it won't mess up a good pillowcase.

I didn't really do anything around the house B4 I left. I got my horse feed, then headed to the farm. Got everyone fed, got one bag of feed in the cans and got my trailer hooked up. RU came over, so we went and got my hay. Got back to the farm, and dropped the trailer. The hay will stay in there until I'm ready to unload it on Friday. I did take one bale home for the goats.

I was going to do some cleaning in my tack shed after eating my lunch. Instead, I leaned back in my chair and fell asleep. When I got up, I got Stormy fed, got feed bagged and hay out then decided to take care of the rest of the feed. I don't need the one bag yet, so decided I'd stick that in my truck. Only problem being, all of my tack, grooming supplies and helmet were in there, so I took them out and put them away. The feed is in my back seat, the rest is in the cans where it belongs.

Got home, and relaxed for a bit, then washed a load of clothes and hung them out, folded up and put away another load of clothes, fed the goats and bunny and did a load of dishes. Now I'm relaxing for a bit B4 heading to bed. I think I'll be able to do more tomorrow.

I feel normal today, which means I need to watch how much I do. Otherwise, I'll overdo it and mess myself up. I'm going to do some housework this morning as well as some dishes B4 heading to the farm. I may just take a long break B4 heading out.

At the farm, I need to clean the field and mow. Then if I'm up to it, I'll work on my hay shelter. I just remembered that I left a window open yesterday, and we got some rain overnight! Hopefully I didn't end up w/a puddle!

I need to wash another load of clothes and hubby and I are going to work in the garden. Other than normal chores, that's all I'm doing today.

Got a lot done today. This morning I washed the kitchen floor, cleaned the bathroom and threw a load of clothes in the washer. Then I took a nap for about 30 minutes.

At the farm, I got the field all cleaned then mowed. W/that done, I worked on the hay shelter. I only need to put some furring strips on the bottom and on some of the sides as well as the doors. I still haven't figured them out.

At home I worked in the garden. I was going to get my tomatoes planted. But B4 I could to that, I needed to get the volunteer tomatoes I had come up in that area as well as a bunch of raspberries that had come up out of there. The tomatoes are all in containers. Hubby wants some of them. I dug a hole and stuck all the raspberries in there. I don't know if they'll live or not, I didn't have time to do more than that. I also got the clothes that I put out yesterday down and hung out the clothes I washed this morning.

It's going to be another hot one today. I have a load to throw in the washer, some shirts to iron and dishes to do. Then I'm hoping to leave for the farm fairly early. Once everyone is fed, I'm going to make the nesting boxes for my chicken house, then paint everything. While it's drying, I'm going to clean out my hay shelter, then stack the hay in it. When that's done, if I have enough time, I want to get the doors and roof on the chicken house, paint anything else that needs to be painted, then open up that section. l

When I get home, I hope to be able to get the clothes down that I hung up last evening, get the other load up and work in the garden. By Saturday evening, I hope to have everything I can in the garden. They're calling for showers on Sunday, then rain on Monday. I hope they're right. We could use a nice, rainy day.

Today was busy! I got all the dishes done this morning, but didn't have time to do the laundry. I had hoped to work on it when I got home from the farm.

Got everyone fed and turned out and started in on my chicken house. It took me a lot longer than I was expecting! Plus, I made some mistakes cutting and had to redo parts of it. But, I have the nesting boxes done and on. I have the roosts in. And, I have most of it painted! I ran out of paint, otherwise I'd have it all done. I do need at least one more board, but I can use something else temporarily.

By the time I got that done, it was around 4:30. Gave Stormy his 2nd feeding, put out hay, took care of the chickens, set up for tomorrow and left.

When I got home, I wanted to sit down and do nothing. Instead, I kept going. I got clothes off the line. I put another load out. I fed animals. Then I took the chicks and stuck them in a pen in the garden. I got the brooder cleaned and set back up, then I started working on my garden. I have all of my tomatoes in! I wasn't sure how I was going to mark them. Last year, I couldn't find the markers I put in. This year, I came up w/a bright idea. I have 20 plants total, and several different varieties. So, I put them in alphabetically. This way, I'll know for sure what is what.

I would have liked to have done more, but it took me awhile to get them all in. So, I watered a bunch of stuff, brought the chicks in and got a shower. Now I'm relaxing a bit B4 going to bed.

Busy day today. I went out to breakfast this morning, then came home and worked in the garden. My section is now all weeded. I have all of my tomatoes, peppers and eggplants in. And I put a bunch of old hay down to mark the pathway between my section and hubby's section. I also got the clothes off the line.

When I was done that, I came in and took a nap. Then I went to the farm. Got a couple of pieces of wood attached to doors that I've made and finished painting it! Only problem being, the paint was really thin. I thought it was paint I had left over from painting my tack shed. But it's not. I'm pretty sure it's some that hubby used in a paint sprayer and he had to really thin it for that. So tomorrow, I'll give the stuff I painted today a 2nd coat. We have a riding club meeting at the farm, so I'm hoping to get this done first. Then after the meeting I can hopefully get the doors on, put the roof on then open that section up! I think my chickens will be happy. I just won't have a feeder in there for now.

Got everyone fed, everything set up for the morning and came home. Got everyone fed here and watered the flowers that I still haven't gotten in, took a shower and now I'm relaxing. I'll be going to bed soon.

I almost got done! I just needed about another hour. But, the chicken house is all painted. I have all the doors but the chicken door on and that can wait. I got the hook and eyes on the one, tried to put it on another and realized I need to add a piece of wood so it will work. For now, it's tied shut. I didn't have time to do the roof, but since they're calling for rain, I put it up and tacked it in place. It needs to be cut down to size. And I need to open up that section.

Tomorrow they're calling for showers. So what I get done is going to depend on when it rains. But I'm going to try my hardest, Lord willing, to finally get that finished. My chickens really need the room-especially since I'll be letting the older chicks in there in the not too distant future.

It's raining! One part of me is glad since we really need the rain. The other part wishes it had waited until later in the day to start. And I just realized I forgot to cover my mower! Hope it's going to be OK. I'm hoping we have time today when it's not raining. If so, I'll see about getting the rest of my chicken house done.

I'm also going to work today, just not sure what I'm doing, or how long I'm working.

If we get a dry period today, I'm hoping to get out in the garden and get the rice and corn in. If not, I'll be spending time doing dishes, housework and laundry. And I can also get my vine crops started inside. We've had such a problem w/bugs the past few years that I either need to start them inside, or start them late. Otherwise, I don't get anything. Last year I tried starting them late. I didn't have the problem w/bugs but I also didn't get some stuff because of how late I got them started.
