I'll add to the hijack (hee hee) I had my daughter natural AND underwater!! Soothing candle light and relaxing music in the background. I was so relaxed I took little naps in between contractions.

I think giving up my daily glass of wine is going to be hard for me.

Yeah Freemotion gave a wonderful class via telephone at the end of the summer and into the fall. It was 16 hours of awesome information. Noobie and I took it.
Wow, BBH..underwater, candlelight and relaxing music? Thats cool! With my first I was 16 and not prepared-they told me it would be no worse then menstrual cramps..lol..add natural childbirth and 36 hours to that. I ain't giving up my coffee!!!

I'm back from work, waiting on dh and supper, then out to do the critter chores and milk. In the cold November rain. How long can I put it off???

Yes, BBH, your notes are very good. The goal is to eat as many veggies as possible, and add more fruit than is usually allowed for weight loss. First day or two, no animal products or fats. And no exercise, light chores. Add some good protein and a little fat as soon as your energy level drops, it is different for everyone. Don't go very long without fat. I can do one day, tops!

No grains, either, during a cleanse. No dairy.

When you add fats back into your life, use good quality saturated fats mostly....butter (grass-fed if you can get it on everything), egg yolks, poultry with the skin, etc. A little EVOO to dress salads (homemade dressings.) Some good cheese with no additives, coloring, soy, etc. Full fat sour cream, yogurt, milk, etc., raw and grass-fed if available.

Get as many veggies into your body as you can. Get that colon MOVING! A LOT!!!

To be perfect, no caffiene or alcohol....but if you will kill someone, have a cup of coffee.

No "diet" anything, no chemicals, no aspartame or splenda, no preservatives, colorings, MSG in any of it's forms (google it! It is everywhere!)

A very toxic person can do this for six weeks. The goal is at least a week, but any number of days you can stick with it will do your body good. It takes about six weeks on average to eliminate cravings, btw.

This takes planning and fortitude, but is well worth it! Let your family know that the penalty is death for eating a Snicker's in your presence!!!
:bow Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! :bow :bow :bow :bow
