I know someone who was forced to confess "evil behavior" to a whole congregation. His mom found a girly magazine under his mattress when he was 15.

Oh yeah...he still has issues. And no, he is no longer with that church.

Sexually taking advantage of young girls by church members. Then making the girl "apologize" to her abuser. Sermons sanctioning beatings even in infants 2 weeks old, etc...

This is exactly why I am afraid of church people and stay as far away from them as I can.
