does anyone here raise quail?

The eggs from quail are beautiful! A light blueish color with brown speckles. And the males call is weird at first but I loved the sound.

as soon as i have sufficient posts ,i'll put up Coturnix egg pics and other coturnix related pics.
The roos crow is entertaining. Some of mine sound like they are saying .."i'm a BRAT!"..others say.."Look at ME!", and there's a couple other "phrases" that they say as it's an individual bird's thing.LOL The hens are quiet,they make assorted soft sounds except when laying an egg . Then it's louder and high pitched.

I was thinking of getting some quail, but after reading this, I don't think I will. I need something I can keep w/the chickens and free range. Oh well. Maybe when I get my own place. I just don't have the time to add anything that's going to add to my daily work load.
