Does Anyone know how to Pickle a whole Cucumber?

My Cousin has her eye one some of the pickling cucumbers I let get to big....

And since I like trying new things, Does anyone know how to pickle a large(bout 6 inches long) whole cucumber?

Do they have to remain large? If not, cut into chunks, slices or spears.

pickle them the same as slices or spears. 2/3rd part 5% apple cider vinager, 1 part salty water (as salty as the ocean). three heads of dill fern, 2 cloves garlic chopped, mustard seeds, coriander seed, dash of black pepper, dash of red pepper flakes or hot sauce. Bring to a boil five minutes, pour over hot jars filled with cukes. seal with lids and process in a water bath canner for 20 minutes, or store in refrigerator, use within three months.
