I'm always on the "border" of good & bad of storms. One model says 1/2-1" other says 3-4", both say frigid teens at night and barely over freeze days. Neither is acceptable to me. :old surveyed supplies on hand, vehicles gassed up, etc. just got a trailer of hay. Bracing for it. Here it's rain tomorrow, snow flurries wed & fri, cold tues- Fri.🥶🥶

Winter 🫨

And I got back to work in coming week 🤨 booo

i hate to say it because it is often feeling like we're tempting fate and asking for it, but so far this snow season most of it has gone elsewhere. we only have a few inches on the ground right now. it will probably be cold enough this coming week to keep most of it as it is, but a refresher looks nice once in a while.

I’ve had my 2 cups of coffee, going to get feed this morning, don’t have enough to make the week. With snow and ice predicted, I’m gonna hunker down and not going anywhere!
I really pray and hope you all don't get the ice we got a few weeks ago. No electricity from the grid for 3 days and 4 1/2 nights, was not fun. I know know just how much I take the grid for granted. We ran the generator all that time. We are blessed to have a generator big enough to keep the lights on, run the LP furnace to keep the house warm, fridges and freezers cold. I ran the wood stove to keep the out building warm.

Try and stay warm and please be careful, it's all to easy to slip and fall on ice.

Had a skiff of snow before daylight, then sprinkles... Temps hit 50 this afternoon and the precious 5 inches snow and 1/2 inch ice are melting... Had really hoped for more rain to get it all melted down. Now there is a forecast of 1-3 inches snow possible for tomorrow... yet they are still saying temps in the upper 30's to low 40's ?????:idunno:hu:hu... Then the bottom dropping out on Monday and through Thursday. nights in single digits and days barely in the 20's????
It's winter.....
