I have not had a dog in 30 years, growing up in the 60's we had a pair of great danes, they were nice to people but Moose the giant one ate a neighbors boxer dog and they sued my dad, BullyBoy got out and ran into a car and did $2000 in damage, never had another dog since.
While in Wisconsin my boy wanted a dog so I looked up the human society website and found a young red bone coon hound and sent the boy for him (17 then) he came back with a wryly pit bull. The first day he tied him to the leg of a heavy coffee table and when I got home from work found the table in splinters he was 7 months old then.
Two months later my boy joined the army and haven't seen him since, but still have this giant head pig bull as reminder of his insolence. The boy will be getting out next month but is going to college and will have to leave the dog face with me now going on 3 years - he can't have him back .
