When we had cows, by the hundreds when we vaccinated babies and mommas it wore me out!

100 Mommas and their babies plus the bulls and the two horses.

Sheesh, and I thought our herd was big!

What were you guys doing with that many cows? Dairy or beef?

Beef cattle. Before that we had 300 feeder calves, 100+ mommas and their babies, then 50 acres of tobacoo. Then I think some corn to feed them. But my parents got divorced, then we moved. He sold the cows last summer because he just lost interest in them. I dont miss them really.

If my math is correct, that's almost 500 head! Incredible!

Really snowin' out there now... Already got 3-4 inches, maybe more. Windy and cold. Just let the poor dog out to do his business, he looked so miserable out there!

Aah, all the joys of snow have arrived! Skiing, snow forts, snow men, snowball fights... Going out early to get a head start on it all! Where to begin?

So, you were a real cowboy? If only I was younger, not married and you were older. (I always wanted to marry a cowboy when I was younger. )

Hehe... Are you kidding? Youngins are supposed to give you more gray hairs and shorten your life span, how does that make you not so old?
