I have a quad of Welsh Harlequin, and they are 1 year old. My drake and 2 of my Ducks came from Becca, and she was getting eggs. They laid 3 eggs after getting here - and stopped.

my 2 year old rouen hen is laying an egg a day, taking 1 day off a week.

My oldest Muscovy's are 2 years old (male and female) and she was laying, but not now. the other two, Dash Jr. is a duckling from ofg's hatch last year and Miss Priss is about 1 or so. Dash Jr. is hatching a clutch as I type this, and miss Priss has 10 babies.

So I just want to know - what's wrong with my Welsh??? or could they have hidden nests, since they are free ranging???

Yup, Quail, I'll bet the same.

My sweet, wonderful Rouen "Mrs. Duck" lays an egg every single day since she started laying last December.

I usually hard boil her eggs along with some of the chicken's. They taste the same, just bigger.

If I ever make anything "dessert" (which is rare, unfortunately) I use her eggs.
