Lovin' The Homestead
the airport in Port-au-Prince is still operational, they just don't have any air traffic controllers at the moment. Coast Guard helicopters and boats are headed there now, so i would assume they can have air traffic control up and running again by the end of the day. who knows what that will bring though. being able to land a plane and being able to deliver aid are VERY different things. they haven't even located a suitable place to run operations from. you have to have a place to send people to receive aid or it's going to fall apart completely.TanksHill said:From what I heard flying into Haiti is impossible at this time even for rescue efforts.
IF i can get there, it will most likely be sometime next week at the earliest. bureaucratic red tape is definitely a problem always in this line of work.
