With the diversty of people that vist this site, I thought it would be interesting to what everyones Easter Feast/traditions are.
Though the Kids are grown one of them married and no grand children, hidding eggs is out of the question, however the bunny

still brings a basket for them

(my wife said as long as she is alive him and St Nick would still visit, though I dont mind, becasue they leave me baskets and stocking stuffers too, dont judge me lol). We will visit with the oldest and his wife on Saturday so they can vist her family on Sunday, We will eat ham, potato salad, baked beans, rolls, bacon and cheese deviled eggs, and cause oldest son doesnt eat most of that, cheese scalloped potatos and and whatever desert they bring(I havent told anyone yet, I am making homemade ice cream

called 3 6s) and jsut hang out and spend time together.
Sunday will begin with Sun rise services, then Church, then home to eat left overs and nap all day.

Sounds wonderful.

The Easter bunny will be coming some time tonight. We will be having dinner with family tomorrow. Ham, turkey and gluten free side dishes.

My sil is making a strawberry torte.

Sounds good to me.

Right now, we don't have any Easter traditions. My kids are out of the house, and I can't get anyone to join me at church. So, I'll be going by myself.

We had our family get together on Saturday. It was an unusual holiday dinner. Ham, potato salad, etc........but only two desserts. :) Just 6 of us, small group, and that's okay.
No church, we're all different religions - and we're all okay with that, too.

I had both my grown kids home at the same time. That's hard to do these days, they live 5 hours apart and different work schedules, so it was nice to sit up late Saturday night remembering when they were small. One of their favorite memories was hunting Easter eggs in July one summer. They wanted to play Easter bunny, so I boiled a bunch of eggs and let them have at it. The smallest things make the biggest memories.
