Yup, recycle! The types of people who appreciate farm-fresh eggs are usually also the types of people who appreciate recycling efforts. Many people who don't appreciate farm-fresh eggs also appreciate recycling, once word gets out, you will be planning a bonfire.....

Ask neighbors, friends, relatives, co-workers, etc to save their egg cartons for you. That is what we did; now we have more than we will ever need.
This is what we did too, great way to get extra, right now we have several 8 foot stacks of cartons, then what we're already using. We once bought 100 blanks and added our name to them but that was a couple years ago..

I don't need hundreds of them but I have eggs coming out my ears and need to sell some. Where do you all get your egg cartons from? The cheapest I can find them is Meyers and they are still 39 cents apiece.
Hey Lori

I buy from www.eggboxes.com

They are brand new, no reprints etc.....plain foam...nice cartons.

They are $56 for 200 shipped.....so that makes them .28 each.

They come 100 per box....so even 2 boxes take up little space and will be easy to store and for $56 you always have cartons on hand.

Cheapest I can find right now.

Hope that helps.

Lots of people save their cartons for me, too. Just get the word out that you need them, and pretty soon you'll be drowning in them.

It's a great way to recycle and cuts down on costs.
