Don't you know, you're supposed to put them in your pocket! That way, when they break, there's not a big mess to clean up.
Dang........ I didnt know that.......never mind I dont need the tote now.....lol

I've smashed many a egg in my pocket.......isn't that an age-old tradition of having chickens? Kind of like a rite of passage........

LOL...
mum had that problem in the fall, first year with hens and theyd just started laying...
egg goes in pocket and inadvertedly at least one would break...
my favorite was when shed forgett here was an egg in the pocket for a while then suddenly bend over and crack LOL.

i made her a take on this, i made a cloth bag that a 1 dozen egg carton fits in securly in the bottom...we have 13 hens so 1 doz is usually perfect :) ) so now all she has to do is put the eggs in the carton and carry it in...no more pocket eggs! :p

i love the idea of the fabric dividers though :)

I'm quite proud of myself. I rode my motorcycle to the farm today. And, Angel laid an egg! She hasn't laid one for a few days. Penny's been laying, but since she tried to hide her nest, I'm thinking she might be getting broody. Only problem being, I didn't have anyway to get the egg home-except in the pocket of my Carhartt. I figured nothing ventured, nothing gained. I made it home w/out cracking the egg!

That is really cute, but I would be worried that, with all that extra space, I would put something else in without thinking - but then, I have been known, on occasion, to be somewhat absent minded ;)
Where did you find that cute fabric?

I love these and I'm going to make some, already got the fabric....I just need to figure out the pattern. It is the awesomest idea though! My sister was going to some cool malls so I had her look for really cute fabric for mine...it is fun to see this larger one!

hmmmm, I'm jealous of the green eggs!!

I'm going to look for some chicken print fabric to make myself a egg carrier!! I just carry them in my hands... The most eggs I ever have in a day is three or four.
