Mine was a Bouvier x Staffordshire Terrier (no prizes for guessing who the dad was ;)) called Lelik (Afrikaans word for "ugly" - He was as a puppy)

I just had to post more pics of Parker. Gosh we love this dog!

Tonight the 1 year old played with an empty gatorade bottle. She gave it to Parker, he politely took it and dropped it. She picked it up, offered it to Parker, he politely took it and dropped it. They played the bottle game a long time.

He's a LAB. :love :love :love I've owned two so far, but have been around many others, and think there is no finer breed to be found for a family. Loyal, brave, intelligent, gentle and patient.

Was watching a vid yesterday of a black Lab that was trained to detect American Foul Brood in honey bee hives and was saving his owner a lot of money by doing so. Didn't know they were even training dogs to do that, but it's another amazing use they've put Labs to among all the other work they've been able to learn.
