FF, I would think a stuffing with apples would work, if you substitute gluten free bread, corn bread, or brown rice for the bread portion. Saute the onions, garlic, celery. carrots before adding to the stuffing base. Add the chopped apple (and maybe some craisins) in when you add your liquid - chicken/turkey/veggie broth.

BTW, We were at Ollie's in Erie, PA today (it is a clearance store). We saw the River Cottage Family Cookbook for $6.99. It is about 2 inches thick. We were looking for a 2009 calendar to send to dd and I happened to notice they had a number of copies. :D

I am definitely getting my broilers from Welp from now on.....mine are almost 6 weeks and are only 2-2 1/2 lbs. Grrrrrrr. I am hoping I don't have to feed these things for 3-4 more weeks before I can butcher ANY of them.

Hope everything goes okay at the neurologist! :hugs

Good luck at the doctor's!

One of the fellas in our church group was telling us on Saturday that he uses a heavy duty feed bag as a killing cone for the wild turkeys and geese he hunts.
