Right after I read this post, I decided to go ahead and order a Rock River LAR8 Varmint rifle. I had been thinking about getting one for quite awhile. I already have a bunch of stuff, but all in smaller calibers. I wanted something larger for those long range calls. I decided WTH, it's only money.

I don't know how the law is worded in other states, but in Florida, the state (or feds, depending on where you live) own all the bodies of water, including the water under your house that your wells brings up. Scary.

THEFAN...of course it is going to get worse. Too many people think that government SOLVES problems and do not acknowledge that it is, more often than not, the CAUSE.

Most people demand and expect the government to pay for all their health care costs. Most health concerns are self-created by diet and lifestyle choices in this country. Then they squeal when the government regulates health in any way they see fit.

We, as a country, not as individuals on this forum for the most part, WANT the government to be the mama and tell us what to do, what not to do, take our money and pay for it, and handle as many details as possible.

And like the toddlers we act like, we throw a tantrum when they do it.

But it's what we ask for, who we hire to be our leaders, and what we allow to happen to us. I don't understand the surprise at any of this.
