Absolutely love it! Powerful! We live on 5 rocky, mountainous acres but have been building raised beds, gardening, adding livestock (chickens, goats) gradually. Committed to supporting local, organic growers even as we learn.

Thanks for the tip, We will have to have our local library order food inc for us.
Is it OK for 4 and 6 year olds??. (They understand butchering, they see me butcher.) I still do not let them watch me kill though. (I really hate the killing part..)

I get grossed out by butcher shops and by public food places. All those people handling my food! We still eat out on a rare occasion, but personally I feel much much safer eat food that dropped on the forest floor covered in dirt, than I do at the majority of public eateries.... (Of course I prefer to not have dirt on my food! Darn sand can break a tooth)

I got it yesterday (boy Amazon delivers fast!) but I went into hibernation mode and by 8:30 I was out cold. Maybe tonight I'll be able to stay up.

Good movie, almost everything they talked about I was already aware of but I love seeing those facts being put into a popular movie.

Food, Inc has been nominated for an Oscar for Best Documentary Feature.

That is going to look really nice on our promo material for film night!
