The food recalls of late are extensive and alarming! Listeria, salmonella, metal flakes, dyes & ??? Major producers.

Yet, we can't sell "dangerous" raw milk ... patooy.

Raw milk is legal here. Just regulated for herd testing. There's a goat dairy not that far from me. Goats seem to have less diseases that can be passed to humans than cows.

i looked into the numbers, goats a few million to perhaps five millionish, beeves, about ninety million in comparison.

That's USA? Because many countries are about the opposite ratio. Goat milk is most consumed milk, worldwide -- they say. Many countries cannot support cattle, goats eat differently, need less land and can handle mountainous terrain better. . Just not as popular in USA.

yes, just USA numbers. did not look into world wide.

Goat milk is good. If someone near me was milking goats, I’d buy it from them.

Just a reminder ---

GA lost huge pecan orchards (thanks Helene ) so virtually no harvest from area providing over 50% of market.

Cranberry fields up north has had drought. Yep limited crop.

There ya go -- holiday items, pecan pie, cranberry stuff

Ain't life fun???
