Mine, too. I don't buy Tyson anymore.

I understand Corp restructure but, screwing the suppliers then top brass taking those sums is not part of such a plan, IMO. Blatant untrust. Our farmers deserved better.

The shutdown of processors could have had a severance PKG for workers with those funds. But those farmers went into debt to provide as Corp demanded, then they were dropped without notice. No help, no consideration, no good. They'll lose livelihood and homes. . Pretty shocking really.

They are being sued over it!

i don't really like chicken that much so some years ago i decided to no longer buy commercial chicken and a part of why was once in a while getting sick from it so i wanted to see what would happen. i hardly ever get sick from food any more at all.

i much prefer turkey. i've never gotten sick from eating turkey (even the commercial ones).

i still very fondly remember a group of us friends had a turkey and smoked it on the grill, when it was done we stood around the grill and ate the whole thing without plates or anything other than our hands. it was a very primal meal, we joked about throwing bones over our shoulders to the dogs (there weren't any dogs there )...

if i am going to eat chicken i really like it best off the grill, skin on and bones included. dark meat yes please.
